One of the nicest parts of my work is getting to photograph pieces that are clearly made with care. Recently I spent some time photographing a collection of textured wool handbags and squeeze coin purses by Gosling Organics made by Natalie in Guelph.

Gosling Organics has been creating handmade textile pieces since 2017, focusing on natural,eco-friendly materials and playful design. Every piece has a lovely sense of texture and detail that really comes through when you see them up close.

The cinch-top wool handbags are especially charming — soft, gathered shapes finished with a simple wooden bead that adds just the right touch. They're beautifully made and practical.

And the squeeze coin purses are just plain fun. The little frames snap open with a squeeze, revealing carefully lined interiors and wonderfully textured wool fabrics on the outside.

Photographing them meant focusing on the small things — the textures of the wool, the stitching, and the thoughtful details that make handmade work so special.

It’s always a pleasure to spend time capturing images the work of small makers, especially when so much care goes into each piece. Gosling Organics creates accessories that feel playful, tactile, and made to be enjoyed every day.

If you're a handmade maker looking for product photography, feel free to get in touch — I'd love to help bring your work to life through thoughtful images.
