I had lovely evening photographing Christyne, her husband Mark, and their sweet son out at Lot 9 Flower Farm. With so much space to run, explore, drive a tiny tractor, and stop to smell the flowers, this spot was the perfect backdrop for their family session.

I met up with Alicia, her husband, and their cute-as-ever boys at Lot 9 Flower Farm, and it couldn’t have been a better way to wrap up summer sessions.

I always love sessions like this — where the bond between pets and their humans shines so effortlessly. Lot 9’s sprawling lawns and quiet pond created such a peaceful backdrop, the kind of setting where you can slow down, enjoy the moment, and let personalities truly shine.

I spotted the sweetest little burlap seed sprouting bags tucked among the garden section. I couldn’t resist. These simple sacks—pre-filled with soil and seeds—are such an easy way to kickstart an herb garden.

I’ve always loved these warm early summer beach images and never quite gave them the attention they deserve. It was a warm June evening in Grand Bend, Ontario.

I don’t know the first thing about working with cows, but to me, they’re the gentlest souls. Those big brown eyes, fluttery lashes, and slow, calm movements just melt me. And the calves—somewhere between a cow and a giant puppy—are pure sweetness. Total innocence on four legs.

One recent discovery was Terry Fox Park, tucked not far from downtown. It’s a sweet series of gardens, and when we visited, the peonies were in full bloom—ruffled, delicate, and in shades I’d never seen before. Some were lush and full, others simple ‘single’ blooms with just one graceful ring of petals. Just beautiful.

The field behind our house is dotted with sweet little clumps of daisies — a sure sign that summer has officially arrived. I’m always happy to head out with clippers in one hand and my camera in the other, soaking in the simple joy of gathering them.

Graduation season is here! Whether it's high school, college, or university — it's such a meaningful milestone, and it deserves to be celebrated in a way that feels authentically you.
